An app layout created for athletes who want to begin and maintain a plant based diet. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or somewhere in between - this app offers customized recipes, restaurant suggestions, and information that can help and encourage anyone to easily follow a plant based lifestyle.
The pages of this application take you from an introductory, one-time log in, a main menu where you can either find recipes, locate plant based restaurants near you, or preview your favorites. Upon deciding your next meal, a customizable menu of your current situation (i.e. vegetarian, eating lunch, post practice) will appear, and a customized list of recipes will appear with optimal nutritional meal option for a plant based athlete. For the purpose of the assignment, we collected data from a vegan NFL wide receiver, a vegetarian college swimmer, a meat-eating U.S. Marine, a pescatarian nutritionist, and a part time plant based olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin, whose profile example has been used in this example below.
